Despite an announcement (October 2022) that APSARA will not tolerate abuse of or interference with the monkeys (macaques) at Angkor Wat, I am aware that this abuse is continuing. The people involved are relentlessly harassing the monkeys and people are continuing to feed them, creating a serious public safety risk. I join with Action for Primates, Lady Freethinker and Stop Monkey Abuse Asia, in urging APSARA to take immediate steps to intervene and stop this inhumane treatment of the monkeys. Sincerely,
